"Lose One, Gain One" final week!
We are entering the final week of the "Lose One, Gain One" challenge. Were you able to stick with the goals you set for yourself? My "Gain One" was to eat an additional serving of vegetables each day and my "Lose One" was to eliminate any added sugar/sweets. There were a few days I didn't get the extra veggies in, and those were the days I didn't take the time to prep my meals. I did great on the no sugar until Halloween:( However, I will say that the sugar I did eat left me with a headache and not feeling so hot. That said, I know from this, and past experience, that I feel so much better when sugar isn't on board. Doing this challenge allowed me to reset and refocus on the eating patterns I know make me feel the best. Hopefully you will end this challenge feeling a bit better and are on the road to sustainable lifestyle changes that will make you feel better as well. For those of you interested in taking the next steps, we will be kicking off a macro challenge after the first of the year. Stay tuned!
Dexafit will be back in the gym next Sunday, November 12th from 10-11am to conduct follow-up Fit3D scans for those of you interested in a retest. We will have a sign-up sheet at the gym tomorrow for head count, so please don't forget to sign it if you plan to come on the 12th.
