Q. What/who made you decide to try BICF and join our “Founders Club”?
A. I think you provide excellent coaching!
Q. What has been the most significant change for you since joining BICF (physical, mental, social, health, etc)?
A. I'm trying to get back into a routine, but it’s been great watching my son gain confidence in himself during the teens class.
Q. What is your favorite thing about BICF?
A. The non-judgmental atmosphere. The cheerful workouts.
Q. What are your favorite/least favorite movements?
A. I don’t really know anymore. I love/hate many of them. This isn’t very sexy but I mostly like them when I’m done and I feel better.
Q. What are your personal goals/aspirations for 2017?
A. I would like to get strong again. I got burnt out from routinely doing 20 minute hero-style WODs at another box. I can feel that I can’t lift 10 bags of groceries at once any more and I find that annoying.
Q. What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting CrossFit?
A. Starting again and accepting that I have to start over from scratch because I am not in shape any more.
Q. Share something we don’t know about you
A. I played intramural volleyball at the parks district for YEARS. It’s my first love. I think I imagined I was playing with Misty May for all of the marbles. I loved the teamwork and a job well done when we would execute a great play.
