Am I ready to try CrossFit?
When people first research CrossFit common themes we hear are "It looks too hard" or "I don't think I can ever do that" or "You must have to be in really good shape for this." CrossFit truly is for anyone who is willing to work hard. It isn't easy, there are no "quick fixes", but you will be changed for the better and have tremendous support every step of the way.
In this video, Laurie Hansen–a 60-year-old athlete at CrossFit Kinnick in Upland, California summarizes her experience by saying "The community is my favorite part. It doesn't matter what you lift, how far you are on your journey, you're welcome. Everybody is rooting for you and they want you do to your best. The other thing I like is how I feel....I feel strong and flexible." It's hard work, but so worth it!"
