Member spotlight: Meet Grant
Q. What/who made you decide to try BICF and join our “Founders Club”?
A. I just moved to BI and thought joining BICF would be a great way to get in shape and meet new people. A lot of co workers do CrossFit and say great things about how the workouts never get boring and the group environment is very motivating.
Q. What has been the most significant change for you since joining BICF (physical, mental, social, health, etc)?
A. I wrestled and played tennis in high school. I always hated lifting weights. Since training with BICF I’ve started to enjoy Olympic lifting and find it very fun!
Q. What is your favorite thing about BICF?
A. Every workout is different and they never get boring.
Q. What are your favorite/least favorite movements?
A. My favorite WOD was the team workout out on New Years Day. The 4 of us worked as a team and had an awesome workout together. It was a great team builder. Worst WOD was the 12 days of Christmas!
Q. What are your personal goals/aspirations for 2017?
A. I’d like to start coming to class more often, eating cleaner, and becoming healthier.
Q. What has been your biggest accomplishment since starting CrossFit?
A. Sticking with it!
Q. Share something we don’t know about you
A. In college I got really into scuba diving. I got 2 advanced certifications including ice diving and cave diving.
